Speakers for Optimal Health 2002Russell Blaylock MD is a board-certified neurosurgeon, author, and lecturer. For 24 years he was in private practice in neurosurgery with a strong emphasis on nutrition. He has recently retired to devote full-time to nutritional studies and writing. In 1994, Dr Blaylock wrote and illustrated Excitotoxins, the Taste that Kills, describing how monosodium glutamate, aspartame, and similar substances can cause harm to the brain and nervous system, and have been implicated in neurocognitive diseases such as Alzheimer's and Lou Gehrig's disease. At present Dr Blaylock is writing a new book that covers ways to prevent degenerative disease, slow the aging process, and treat metal poisoning. Rev. George Malkmus, along with his wife Rhonda, founded Hallelujah Acres in Rogersville TN in 1992. Gradually as their ministry grew, they hired others to help them and moved their operation three times. Ten years later Hallelujah Acres is a 46,000 square foot facility on 20 beautiful acres in Shelby NC, has a staff of over 30 employees, and is a worldwide ministry impacting more than a million people with the message, "You don't have to be sick." | |
